Goa Dona Paula Beach
Located 7 km west from Panjim, the capital city of Goa, the Dona Paula Beach is one of the exotic beaches of the state that has been attracting numerous tourists from different parts of the world since decades. The enchanting beauty of the Goa Dona Paula Beach is further glorified with the palm trees and casuarina groves. This popular beach of Goa is named after Dona Paula, daughter of a viceroy during the colonial times after her suicide, due to her parental objection to marry a local fisherman.
